Mister Rogers has a chameleon in a terrarium. He explains that the skin color of human beings doesn’t change. He shows examples of camouflage.In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is having a book show. Mr. Mc Feely delivers a chameleon to King Friday from the Westwood Zoo. The king wants everyone summoned to the castle to see it. Brenda Joyce tries to explain how disappointed Lady Elaine will be if the neighbors go to the castle instead of to the museum. Lady Elaine is quite angry and turns the castle and the neighbors upside down. The king agrees to postpone the chameleon-viewing until the next day so everyone can go to the book show.

Mister Rogers shows pictures of Van Cliburn and of himself as children. Then he calls Mr. McFeely to asks if he has any photographs of himself as a boy.In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Collette is preparing to return to Paris. She is worried that Grandpere will be lonely when she leaves. King Friday and Lady Elaine say goodbye to her. Lady Elaine then hurries off to the Museum-Go-Round because Van Cliburn is going to play for her. Lady Elaine offers to teach him a new way to play the piano. He refuses to play with his elbows. Lady Elaine turns him and the piano upside down. He plays but tells her he prefers playing right-side-up. Mr. McFeely invites Mister Rogers to his house and shows him some old movies and models.

Mister Rogers explains that he changes his shoes because he is more comfortable that way. He has a box of toy vehicles. He shows each one and says its name. He uses the box as a garage.In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, everyone is too busy to visit Lady Elaine. She is lonely and wants company. When Mr. McFeely says he can’t stay she wants to keep him from leaving by breaking his bicycle. Handyman Negri’s appearance stops her mischief. Then she chains the bicycle to the Museum-Go-Round and refuses to unfasten it when Mr. McFeely wants to leave. When Mr. McFeely tells Handyman Negri what has happened, Handyman decides to visit Lady Elaine because he understands her feelings.

Mister Rogers decorates some eggs. Audrey Cleans Everything offers to show him her egg collection.In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin and Handyman Negri ask Edgar Cooke to supply hard boiled eggs to decorate. He gives them some that are still very hot. Lady Aberlin and Handyman whistle at the eggs to cool them. King Friday joins them in their whistling. They are amazed at how well he whistles. Queen Sara then wants to try. Audrey tells them that Edgar is waiting to help decorate the eggs. Audrey brings the collection to show Mister Rogers. She helps him clean up after he has finished decorating the eggs.
